Angelina it is close enough to my relationship. if the punishment should take place, i am dependent on help for 2 weeks. i was able to make a small deal. if the punishment becomes necessary, camryn is allowed to stay with us for 2 weeks (the time i wear the handcuffs) and help me 🙂

True, bondage is something in the sexual realm and it is the wrong to use it within this context as this is about restraints being used to limit and inconvenience the person as a punishment and has nothing to do with anything sexual.

Spanking implies some sort of discipline being administered specifically on the buttocks of the offender.

More or less. Both are forms of violence, but society has decided that one is an acceptable punishment while the other is a form of abuse punishable by law. There is no definition that all the world agrees on for what is or is not spanking.

Still, research shows that spanking is, on average, counterproductive in the long-term.

I also read another article which explained that, like any other form of violence, regular use of spanking during childhood causes physical changes in the brain that predispose it to impulsive "fight or flight" reactions instead of rational, considered responses. (As I remember, the brain reacts that way to any situation where a parent is regularly causing physical pain in the child instead of protecting them from it. Their instincts see it as proof that they can't trust the person who should be their protector.)

Spanking as far as from parents to their children is physical discipline supposed to be done out of love to educate / teach children right from wrong...

However in the case of the girls here on this forum I don't think any of you are children so I think it is more a means to "keep you in your place" as far as parents go?...

exactly for these reasons we do not practice this form of punishment at home. my father wants me to trust him and we are both 100% against physical punishment

in my opinion, the problem is that many parents are not able to find other forms. if i raise my child properly, i don't think that spanking or similar is necessary. Parents have to make sure that their children have respect and this can best be achieved through discussions and agreements 🙂
