Broken chastity belt

Seriously, there is a plant in a pot suspended in a tree in my original Chinese belt.

My Neosteel belt no longer fits quite as well as it used to and so we were contemplating another belt from Fancysteel - with the cable system. But my partner is very mechanically minded and reasonable skilled at making things. When she saw the Fancysteel design with its cables, she thought she could make something using plastic for the main shield and locking mechanism. The plastic is formed in a printer and his hard and reasonably difficult to cut (it melts rather than cuts). Not that I would cut it anyway. She thinks the cables (steel covered in plastic) might be more comfortable and since the shield is plastic it won't need a lining and will not damage my skin. We shall see 🤣 It would be nice if its easier to use the bathroom!

That is prolly the coolest reuse of an item i have heard of in a while. What do you say when someone asked about it? Surly its not obvious what it is. Lol

No-one has asked yet - smiles. It is in our back garden and the plant tends to overhang the plant pot so it's not really very obvious.. It does give us a good laugh though. And perhaps chastity is good for plants. It seems to survive well enough! 🤣

Yes - I admit when I read Ines review about the cable having to be worn tight, I was less than enthused. A part of the selling point my partner made when she decided to make me a belt, was that it would be more comfortable. She also wanted it to be easier to keep clean and allow me more clothing options.

None of this has materialised yet, so neither of us knows how it will turn out. From her perspective it only only costs her time, since the material cost of the belt will be pennies. Its also a fun project for her - and I don't mind the attention of all the measuring and fitting etc. The good news is that if it really is uncomfortable or unwearable, then we shall just buy a different belt.

The fact that she has complete control over design and the manufacture gives me hope that it will be better. But if not, it won't be a big loss and it will have given us some fun.
