well, there are ways to do that. there are armbands that the daughter can't open herself either, i've read about them and i hope my father hasn't.

If he put a GPS tracker on you it is easy to distract the tracker with an GPS-jammer. It is a small device you can by on ebay.
Another point with wireless system is the antenna must be outside of metal. Otherwise it doesn't work. Also under water to hold the radio link is difficult or not possible.
From the safety aspect the electronic should open is it has a mal function otherwise you would stuck in it. To create a mal function is more easy the picking the lock.

To make it proper you need skill and experience. You have to consider so many aspect it will make it expensive, because of the low pieces the will make.

Laura I think chastity belt manufacturers avoid electronics that can cause hassles and complaints. Stainless steel rarely fails and therefore much more reliable.
If someone wants GPS, it can be bought cheaply and put in a pocket. A smartphone can also be equipped with tracking.

I think a main reason why it is not offered now, is that it would need energy. GPS needs s lot of energy,.at least in my phone. It would need gps and a GSM module to send the data.

Exact. And to work probably with all the metal around you have to develop it in the right way. If an antenna is outside you can break it off and it doesn't work any more. Or another option wrap aluminium foil around. This will work without any damage to the device.

There are several small GPS trackers that you can easily glue or fasten with a small padlock on the belt.
Then it will be with the chastity belt and hopefully also the wearer.

Am not sure how I feel about this topic - not least because my partner is designing and plans to build me a new chastity belt. She likely has the skill set to install one of these "trackers".

Laura On the one hand such a device would be extremely invasive and controlling, (with monitoring, geofencing etc), more so even than the CB itself. On the other hand, I would fit such a device to my own CB in a heartbeat (and have looked into it in the past).

I feel that somewhere, somehow, if I enter a McDonald's an alarm should go off. 🤣
There should be consequences. Lol. 😂

@Mary It is German and means bracelet. Their are bracelet with an GPS tracker available to put on yours daughters wrist she can't open it. The tracker has a GPS receiver and a mobile transmitter to send the current position to you.

why would that be unfair? it would not be good for me but not unfair because both devices have different functions.
