The new belt arrived last Saturday and I mustered up the courage to ask my mom about releases. She was actually quite shocked when I told her that I masterbate. She let up when I called her a hypocrite and said she probably didn't have these restrictions when she was my age and we didn't talk for the rest of the day.
We made up the next day and she made an offer. She thinks that will probably lose these urges after one month if I stop masturbating completely. I could either try 24/7 for a month or lose the belt completely and go back to the restrictions on freedom/curfews/etc.
I feel that she would be disappointed if I stopped, and I really don't want lose the freedoms so I have agreed to try it out, so I agreed to the one month. I am hoping she's right because otherwise it is going to suck. The starting date for the 24/7 is going to be the first of March, so the trial period will end on the first of April.
She has also been supervising my showers, which was awkward to begin with but now I don't really care. I guess she wants to make sure I don't "cheat" while having a shower, heh.
The new belt itself is definatly more secure. It's a bit awkward having the metal from front-to-back now. I had to have a few days off this week because of chafing, but it healed quickly and now it's not a probelm. The temporary belt I was using before was not fitted and it was also adjustable, so I am pretty sure I could have gotten past it if I wanted to.
Anyway, im staying positive. I'm glad I can make my mom compramise. I just need to survive a month of this 😅

first of all, thank you for the detailed update. unfortunately, i don't think that one month is enough to not want to masturbate anymore, rather the opposite. after one to two months is the hardest time. you should propose a deal to your mother that you get a break at least once a week/month.

I have been wearing the belt for over 2 years, others even longer and no the feeling of wanting to masturbate does not go away. 🙁

Like other answers here,I don't think you would lose your urges after a month.It can easily be worse.After more than 3 years and half wearing it I still have strong ones...I can sometimes manage these better,but it still can be very hard(I sometimes still cry due to the frustration,even if less often than at the starts)...

The supervised showers is classical,it is similar for several of us.
