My daughter wears a cable belt, so far there has been no problems. It doesn't get in the way of her everyday life, even using the restroom isn't a problem anymore, although it took her some time to get used to it at first. The only tight part is the shield, which has no leeway, but it doesn't cut into skin, just presses on it from below. Because there's no room for the shield to move, it's very secure.
