These rules are ancient, actually thousands of years older than the time of Jesus Christ.
In these times survival of a clan or tribe depended on women being pregnant pretty much whenever possible because child mortality was incredibly high and life expectancy in general probably did hardly ever exceed 40 years.
When you look at it from that perspective, these rules actually made sense, even though from our perspective they appear strange.
But this is true for many things. Remember the part in the bible about the last supper when Jesus washed the feet of the others? Sounds really weird, until you know that because Romans used to dine lying beside the table had their feet up on the cushions and had walked probably through street.s covered in rotting stuff or even faeces, because sanitation was not at the level we know.
The today's equivalent would be to bring the towel and a bowl for washing hands. A job for a servant but nothing out of the ordinary.

no one denies that a man named jesus lived. he was definitely a person who was very loving and who took care of people according to christian principles. I'm not sure if he himself claimed he was the son of god but, i just think that if someone said to me today that he is the son of god, i would recommend that person start psychiatric treatment

The new testament is actually the historical work with the most historical evidences. No trustworthy historian doubts the existance of Jesus.

But @Andrew is right. This topic is not dedicated to the discussion about the existance of god, but to the cohesion of church / region and chastity.
