I think this depends on the man. Most man will find it nice, almost no man thinks it is absolutely necessary these days and some man prefer more experienced woman.

I think from the man (or boys) I know from school, nobody expects a woman to be a virgin on marriage. Beside some traditional Muslim man, they would never have the Idea to expect that.

Germany is not very religious. So for most of them the original reason for virginity is gone. Health problems and pregnancy can be avoided with other things, too. These things a way more common nowadays.

I don't have the feeling they would prefer it. My brother says he don't care. He says if a girl stays a virgin as her own choice, the girl is often a bit strange and isolated in the class. I never had a girl in my classes except some girls from Turkey and the near East that wanted to stay virgin and these girls only did it to avoid major trouble so it felt like not really a free choice for me.

Persoanlly I don't like it at all.I accept it very reluctantly and think it is not needed.

I liked to masturbate,but was not a chronic masturbator either,so it should not be forbidden.And,even if,sometimes,I was too sexual,I was careful about sex,condoms and pills always used(no condoms if a lasting relationship and both tested for HIV and STD).

It is one of the reason for what I think sex before marriage is not bad,but can help to solve problems before they happened at the wrong time(like during wedding night).

I think the whole thing is easily misunderstood. it's more about that a girl who had sex could make a young virgin afraid. he might be afraid to disappoint the girl.

besides, a boy likes to know that the girl has saved herself for the right one.

angelina: yes and no. yes for reason you told. no because... how can you be sure your sexual life with your husband will work? sometimes man and woman are not compatible. i don't know if you understand what i mean.
examples (valid also exchanging "he" and "she"):

he loves make sex seldom and she doens't like: problem!
there are "size" problems between he and her: problem!
he likes (at bed) doing things she doesn't like or she is not interested at all: problem!
etc etc
if you stay virgin till after wedding... maybe some of these problem will come out at it will be too late.

i am not telling "folks, make sex before wedding!!!!". NO. I am only telling there there are positive and negative side effects in both position: remaining virgin or not remaining (about this last position i have sad example in my family. but not because is wrong not remaining virgin but because my daughter abandoned everything to think only to sex)

I wouldn't mind if she was a virgin or not, plus the older I get, the harder it'll be to find a virgin, so my limitations shouldn't be restricted to her sex life experience, but what interests we share that's more important for me. I want to be happy with the person I'm going to spend the rest of my life with, so that includes doing things together we both love, like hobbies for art, music, or whatever.
