why should he? besides, i am of age and so will camryn once she is 18. he can't stop us from getting married even if he wanted to and that was always the condition that i don't have to wear the belt anymore without any consequences.

Its not only the age.. there are many other factors..having a job for example and being generally ready to get married..
For example being unbelted and married before you finish your studies will distract you 100% from your studies..
Its not all about sex and not wearing the belt..
There more important things in life i guess and for sure before you get married you should be ready not only for sex..

Sorry, but this is unlikely for @Angelina, as I see it from her postings. She has very clear ideas, goal and is disciplined.
And sex is not the main thing she has in mind why she want to married.

Where I am for many people getting married is the only thing that allows people to continue their studies past the first four years because of the money situation. Best example is people in medical school, four years of that then intern and residency. One partner will work to pay the bills while the other studies and learns how to practice their trade.

these are things that i don't want to let stand.

i love my girlfriend and i would probably marry her without a belt when she is 18. either i have had many long conversations with her and we are both 100% ready to take this step.

i doubt that it will distract me from my studies. at least i don't have to worry about dating etc. during my studies. since i will first work with my father and then take over his company, there is also no professional risk.

That's true but I was talking specifically about people who continue studies past the first four years. Perhaps things differ from country to country but in the US, where I am, it can be very expensive. I have five siblings. My parents cannot even dream about paying to educate all of us.

that's why we abolished the regular tuition fees a few years ago to make it possible for everyone who can do the necessary work. i pay "only" a small fee of 330€ (370$) per semester.

i agree with you, that's why i would never have abolished tuition fees completely, but staggered them according to the wealth/income of the parents.

This is not correct. You have to pay some amount but it is no fee for the university.
I also heard they had introduced a fee for very long time studying, but I am not sure.

There are historical reasons for this. In the past, DM was placed after the amount, but today it is correct before it. But a lot of people don't do it.

Avery it has its upsides and its downsides.The downside is that it's expensive and many people from poor families are thus robbed the chance to do so. The upside is that the costs make it valuable. We associate the price with value. The more exöensive a product is, the higher are our expectatipns from it and the more do we care about it. A 2€ T-Shirt is good for painting, a 50€ shirt is being taken more care of, even though the quality is the same here and there's just a brand logo printed on it ...

I notice you put the € sign after the amount. I've been putting it before when I convert amounts for my European friends because we put the $ ahead of amounts here.
