that's true, but i think there is a significant difference between the voluntary and the involuntary. some see the belt as a restriction on freedom others as a tool for freedom

But,anyway,a belt prevent us to do things(and not only the main purpose,it reduces the clothes we can wear,the sports we can do,etc...),so I think it is mainly a loss of freedom.

Well, about clothes it is true, but in fact is responsibility of keyholder do not interfere in sports, or to wear a bikini... It is not fault of the belt, is fault of keyholder.

It can happen we act a bit too quickly(especially if drunk or similar(which can lead to forgot condoms,too),wanting to have some "fun" after a party(one night stand),etc...),which can be prevented by a chastity belt.I think it is what @Renita meant.
