Megan Some people get sciatica (nerve pain that shoots down the leg). I basically get that in ummm 'other areas' from a compressed pudendal nerve. Sometimes it's tingling, sometimes it's numb, or pins and needles, or even a full blown spontaneous orgasm (rare but possible).
Of course I didn't know that when I was 12, all I knew was that rubbing one out stopped the 'itching'. I was 19 when I was diagnosed correctly. I can't imagine what would have happened if my parents decided to take matters into their own hands to "correct my abhorrent behaviour" or whatever. Probably suicide to be honest.
I've mentioned this before on here, but it's probably worth mentioning again... It's not as rare as people think, and there's all sorts of similar issues that girls might be dealing with that they won't understand until they're much older (endometriosis etc).
So I know I get triggered by these things, but it's hard not to think of young girls in really unbearable situations due to misguided parental expectations, religion, lack of education and so on.
Knowing and understanding your body is incredibly important. That's why I'm all for chastity, but it should be a personal decision and not one that's forced or pressured into.
