that's not the point. i'll try to explain it with an example. if i get up at 7am, i have to get my thighbands put on at 7pm. if i get up at 9am, i have to get my thighbands put on at 9pm.

yes and no, this is one of the few points where the rules are not clearly defined. we agree on this individually. in such cases i have to catch up on the time, so if due to special circumstances i only wear the thighbands for 10 hours, i have to wear them for 14 hours at some point

Why? BTW: In Germany we don't use metal detectors at school or university or anywhere except airports. With the right clothes, I see no difference.

But the risks if you get caught are much lower when you are an adult, so I feel that college or university is less problematic.

it could also be due to different countries, or that you belong to the 0.000...1% 😉

No. I ended my secondary education with 17, and started university with 17. If you born between September and December is pretty usual in Spain.
Usual no.... mandatory! 😂
Here, if all is OK a girl starts her university in the year in which she turns 18, but people born in last part of year arrive university with 17.

if you do 12 years of school here, then you turn 18 in the 12th year. some schools also go through 13 years of school. then you are already 19.

Ines It's different between the German federal states. Some have 12 years and most have 13 years until university, we don't have anything like a college.
