Milord there is no way to tell for sure who is telling the truth and who is not, but a lot of the stuff people have been posting definitely sounds unrealistic enough that it is reasonable to assume there are many fantasies among those stories.

Well, if not a fantasy, 14yo can safely ask help to someone, even a teacher, and in most Western world social services will be involved and likely there will be a criminal change raised against her abusive mother.

congratulations to your older daughter on her freedom and her relationship. I always find your approach interesting because it is completely different from the other reasons I read here. i don't share this idea, but the reason "you're just too young for sex and masturbation" is something that (surprisingly) rarely happens here
