Angelina As far as I know, that character wears her belt mostly for fetish reasons, with the keys held by her maid (her family is rich). Not sure, have not watched the series myself, but apparently it is a young-adult series that plays those things more for naughty humor (of which there is a lot), rather than titillation. Not sure why she is able to take off her belt in that scene, again, have not watched the show, only heard of it really.

a good update, it's very good that your mother and you can talk about it reasonably and without pressure. it seems like you can get some rewards out of it, so you shouldn't show your interest for the belt too openly, let's see what else you can get 😉

Saintprudence yes talking has been much better once we started. It's locked now! First time -But only for a bit coming off in a few hours. It's weird it's not as different as I thought but I guess i know I won't have any need for it off and it's only short. Mum says I should get used to overnight at least for it to be meaningful and yeah that is the time. And driving lessons could be the reward - I'm pretty excited about that actually. So yeah i need to get used to sleeping - just wearing- not locked

I'm happy to hear that you and your mum can talk about it all now. That's huge progress. I hope you both keep on taking things really slow, both with the belt and learning to manage it. As wearing should be increased only by an hour or so each day, an entire night's sleep needs to be worked up to. The same goes for time without the key, small increases, no pressure.

😀 Well, you wanted a slow way in rather than a cliff edge and it looks like this is what you are getting! Sure you can get it unlocked anytime, only now sometimes you do have to ask for the belt to be unlocked. Just as long as you can see that a process has started ...and where it ends up!!

I feel conflicted when I read this, because part of me doesn't want you to go through any bad feeling again but part of me can see that the possibility of such bad feeling increases the security of the belt and therefore your chance of reaching your long term goals.

Having now to ask for release isn't the only step you've taken. Each "bribe" or inducement you accept for wearing the belt means that you will feel (or be encouraged to feel) honour bound to keep wearing in the future!!

Again, I'm all about the security so I don't mind this at all, but I think it's fair to emphasize the point to ensure you are consciously making the free choice you fought so hard to achieve.

Just make sure it stays that way. It becomes a lot harder to negotiate when the person you are trying to negotiate with holds your keys.
