No, seriously, it is very safe, it is intended for bedtime, but it is not necessary, and is so much restrictive that is difficult even sleep.
It is very hard if you need get up for toilet... We said them that we barely use it, but since they had 0 experience, they they preferred to buy one exactly like mine with the exception of the lock on the chain.

No, if it has almost no use, we bought it because, at first, we thought that the safety of the belt was not as good as it really is.
We also didn't think it would be so incredibly restrictive, it is true that we assumed that for the sake of security some comfort was going to be sacrificed, but not that much!

This is the main problem. Get up for toilet, (cleaness after usage... 🙄)... all is incredibly hard with this for that we do not use it as we thought.

Well, very few times, at the end FS is my second belt and I do not usually sleep with it, and further, my parents know I do not like the system at all, so even we like the safety, it is very exceptional specially after test period.

For that I do not use it, it is not necessary, truly, and is so much uncomfortable.

You can. Organise a screw with the right diameter and a suitable nut.

To get an idea of the block piece, you might also try to use a tie-wrap between the D-rings - that will still give you more room to move than the block piece, but less than a padlock. And if you manage to get the tie-wrap in the openings where the D-rings are connected to the thighbands, you can get a similar result:

should be feasible, if i try it i will let @Ines explain the mounting again, but since my father should not know about it, i am not sure if it is possible to try it together with the chain.

Ines , when you have to spend 15 minutes going to bathroom that is next to your bedroom in order to fill a water glass, and another 15 minutes going back to bed, you will think about this... 😏

Maija If really want to try it do following. Clos your legs that the D-rings of both thigh bands overlap. If you would stick a pen through both D-rings how large would the max diameter of the pen be?
