Yes, I'm talking (replying) to myself - and I am not ashamed of it :-P
Since Angelina had trouble understanding the T, Y and O configurations of the thighband chains, I created a few images to illustrate the possible configurations; perhaps they are also useful for others:
1) "O" option 1 - a chain that goes round, where the ends are locked together, but can move freely through all D-rings
2) "O" option 2 - a chain that goes round, where the ends are locked to the D-ring of the belt. The chain can't rotate.
3) "O" option 3 - a chain that goes round, where the ends are locked to the D-rings of both the belt and the thighbands.
(Note that this option doesn't seem too useful, since when sitting down the chains between belt and thighbands can't get longer, pulling the thighbands up further or even preventing sitting.)
4) upside-down "T" - a horizontal chain that runs between the thighbands, and a separate, or connected chain that runs from the center of that chain up vertically to the belt.
5) upside-down "Y" - similar to the upside-down "T", but with a longer 'horizontal' and a shorter vertical chain, which is too short to spread the legs the full length of the lower chain.
Note that where I used padlocks for the fixed connections, the chains could also be fixed/welded to the D-rings.
