I have previously described how my partner removes my thigh band connecting chain when I am given stretching breaks or we do vigorous exercise including hiking. I used the word chain because it is what most people are familiar with. Although we used a chain originally, they tend to be noisy and rattle just at the wrong moments. Instead, my partner developed a system of two short and thin steel cables (almost like thick wires) that are covered in a sort of clear plastic. They are looped around the inside “D” rings of my thigh bands and the loop is sealed closed with a steel clip that is squeezed shut and would be hard for me to remove. Another clip forms a loop in the other end of the wire.
There is one wire for each thigh band and a small padlock, locks them together giving me just over six centimeters of freedom. This is enough for my normal walking stride.
When the lock is removed, the wires dangle down the inside of my thighs but because they are only about 4 cm long and coated in plastic, they are silent and do not bother me at all.
A third similar wire is fastened to the bottom of my belt and also loops into the padlock so that normally, the padlock doesn’t drop down between my thighs when walking which helps to keep it quiet. Thus, to free me, only that padlock needs to be removed and the thigh bands remain in place. They are merely skin snug; do not affect my circulation, and I am so used to them I only notice them if I attempt to spread my thighs. To remove the bands completely while leaving the chastity belt in place would involve unlocking the two small padlocks on my waste belt, where similar (though thicker) vinyl covered cables run down to the outside of the bands to prevent me from removing them. Removing them would be more involved than simply unlocking the connecting cable padlock.
I hope this explains in enough details without being too boring.
