So now a little update about the conversation with my father and the new rules for the thighbands. My father agreed that I could explain a few arguments today why I do not want to wear thighbands in certain situations. In the beginning, I had the goal of reducing the wearing time so that it is similar to what @Sara2001 did some time ago, i.e. from the evening after dinner to the morning before school.
I don't want to go into all the arguments now because it would take too long, I have mainly argued that it is too restrictive and that it restricts me greatly, especially in school or when I go outside.
But I had to reduce my goal relatively quickly, my father was not ready to reduce the wearing time by almost half the time. He said that it is my free decision what I do in my free time and that I don't have to go out if I don't want to or if it's too exhausting for me. I have to admit that I had no real arguments against it, so unfortunately I had to agree to continue wearing the thighbands during all of my free time (except when my father is watching me).
But I still achieved a very important achievement. I no longer have to wear the thighbands to school, my father agreed that school is very restrictive on the one hand and that the risk of being "caught" is very high. I was able to convince him that due to the stress I have in school, there is a high probability that I will not make any attempts to cheat the belt and even if I tried, my chances would be very worse because I did not have enough time at school to implement really good ideas.
So a quick conclusion. From my point of view, the conversation was successful, I didn't get everything I wanted, but I reduced my time with thighbands by at least 6-8 hours a day.
I had this update translated with the Google translator, if there are any questions I'll be happy to answer them 🙂
