exactly because you are new to the belt, i feel that is quite a lot of time in the belt at a time, try to spend only as much time in the belt as you can stand.

I made it to 1.5 days this time though we actually had planned something like two days.
Physically wearing the belt is surprizingly unproblematic. I would have expected it to be harder to get used to it.
I guess there is still some improvement to be made over time, but physical wearing is quite ok.
But I got a pit panicky (also because my messages to him were still unread for some hours - later I he told me that he watched some football match and there was no cell signal in the statium).
So I had to get rid of the belt early. Which wasn't easy. But the keysafe is only safe if it is attached to a wall - that would prevent someone like me pressing the reset button through one of the mounting holes on the back using a screwdriver.
Anyway I think next time we need a different setup with some kind of backup key. I'm not sure if I was comfortable, otherwise.

i think this is all quite normal, especially the psychological reaction. you are still new to the belt and should not do anything hastily. talk to your boyfriend about all the problems, be open and honest. i think then you will find a good way together. 🙂

Also an update from my end since I don't visit this forum regularly:

I don't wear my cocoon belt long term. It's nearly impossible without some kind of injury because it's an ill-fit unfortunately. I'd send it back to jura but he communicates so little that I probably go to hospital more frequently than I get to see his replies since last year. Recent floodings in china made me unsure if it's even remotely safe to mail it to him.

I reconsidered getting SS19125's belt but the language barrier makes things a bit difficult so Neosteel's where I'm leaning towards now, because at least with NS I know I can mix and match parts on it, but it's rather expensive for the quality. The only redeeming qualities I can think of is the security lock, waist band and the antibacterial coating, but the mix-and-matchability means that if I screw up a measurement, it's not like the whole belt's fked like in the case with jura's cocoon or SS19125's belt.

Oh, and I hate the ergonomics of balltraps because they interfere with some of the most important leg muscles.
