But when I put it all together, she has been forced into the belt for 7 years now. According to her, she has come to terms with it but she has not accepted her parents' view as her own. She is of age or will be soon, depending on where she lives, and there is certainly nothing wrong with being aware of where you want to go. That's why I'm asking to see if she hasn't changed her views and if she thinks differently than she did when she started writing here 2 years ago.

I understand that her relationship with her parents is important to her and that's why she doesn't have an outburst in mind. How is this supposed to go on?

Grow up and decide for herself?
Let the parents decide and submit?
Change one's own view and willingly enter into an appropriate relationship/marriage?

Only when you have a goal do you know in which direction you have to go. Otherwise you are just driven like a leaf in the wind.

How does the Carrara compare with your old one?
Is the cleaning mechanism a serious advantage, or more of a gimmick?
Have you made progress in hiding it and wearing it outside, or are you still only wearing it inside?
I assume your Carrara is used with the thighbands you already have, so not the ones from Carrara. So there is little difference there?

At first I thought that not having a D-ring in the crotch was an advantage for you, because the thighbands chain to the belt gives a bit extra restriction (mostly when sitting, I understand), but if only a padlock is used, there is no advantage.
It is actually a bit mean with only the padlock, especially if you are home alone in the daytime. Is that purely because of the lacking D-ring?

Abby82 Yeah the thigh bands are the old ones and i wear them at nights and when im home alone. The only difference is that the carrara doesnt have the crotch d ring so the bands cant be locked through there, but otherwise no change. Have had only a padlock locking the bands for now:/

If they are going to make this point, then it would also be justified to tie your hands to your body or to put on lockable mittens at night. Surely that's even safer than just the straps and the lock. 🤣

i agree with you. i am a rather small woman and when i see these belts i feel slain, it looks so.... overcandid (i hope you understand what i mean)
