Paying for college. So still about the money. Before I was paying for college and got 100k after. Now she pays for under grad and masters for both of us.

I pay for belts because she pays for reward.

Lol, not really. Since I did suggest this I might as well explain this is a feature of an absurdly expensive college system that is very much a US thing.

Melanie, Katie's mom had Katie early and didn't get to go to get her formal degree, so now while she basically does the job of an engineer at Boeing, she doesn't get remotely well paid for it.

So I did say to Melanie that why doesn't she go back and get her degree, and basically get paid double.? Every large corp like hers has cheap deals AND advanced placement to help train it's workforce. It's a gold plated deal for a university to have that relationship.

Because education is so expensive in the US system, Melanie can't afford both her studies and this deal. And so here we are shrug

TL;DR; US universities are absurdly expensive.

Well yes things change since we are continuing to discuss and figure out what we want. My collage will probably be 40k for undergrad and another 20k for masters depending on scholarships. So, mom is stil paying almost 60k just to me. Her school will be subsidized by her company but still probably 20 grand for under grad and 20k for masters. I suggested she pay me less so she can go to school to.

boeing will pay some of hers. I have some scholarships as well do to good grades and high say score. Collage is still really expensive.

i know that there are big differences between studying in the usa and germany, but i always thought that scholarships cover at least 70% of the costs
