                Sasha how about latex? Might be ...kinky... but ut is warer proof. I always have the issue of the silicone profiles rubbing my skin when being wet... maybe that would help...

                        Neoprene absorbs the seawater, in my wetsuit experience. Sweat isn't going to be much different.

                          Angelina Interesting thoughts about the potential reason to become mainstream. I am sure that the best way to make chastitybelts mainstream would be to market them as fashion items. Find a couple of young and possibly famous influencers on TikTok, Facebook, Instagram and so on and it will become fashionable in no time :-)
                          This works for so many "fashions" that are outright useless, ugly or just idiotic......

                              i agree. i would find it very strange if locked pants suddenly became a fashion item, but thanks to social networks there is so much strange clothing that is suddenly hip that i wouldn't be surprised either 😂

                                        Something I could see would be some sort of self-defense item against overly pushy dates and worse - that celebrities would endorse it as a way to unambiguously communicate "no means no" and "even if you get me drunk enough to say yes, that is no free pass". In that case, keys would probably reside with a trusted friend, rather than a parent, though.

                                          youdontknowme Or maybe a code that you have to contact a friend to get, preferably in a way that they could verify that you aren't too drunk/drugged to consent and legitimately want the thing off (or made it home safely, whichever). Something like this would probably be easy to make since it wouldn't have to be suitable for long-term wear (12 ish hours at most).
                                          It would be vulnerable to destructive attacks, but the use of such methods would at least be useful as evidence if the case went to court.

                                            which in the case of Britney Spears would actually be true. i still think it would be weird to sell it as a fashion item, it would kind of offend me because it wouldn't really capture the seriousness of wearing the belt all the time

                                                On the other hand: hardly any girl woulr wear a corsett today, but up to 100 years ago it was not only Fashion but expected from a "honorable" girl or lady...

                                                    Ines I think corselets were trending, not the real thing with fish-/steelbones where you need a maid or lover to enter your outfit 🙂
