Avery I had read your post, but waited a few days to click the link; usually a melancholic mood comes along every now and then and I knew I wouldn't enjoy this whiny Roy Orbison song if I don't meet it head on with my own highly sentimental mood.. but it's summer here and all available melancholy got effaced by fireworks, a pool party and lots of beach volleyball, so the song did not hit home with me. K.D.s voice, of course, radiates effortless and loving precision - I always appreciate musicians inviting superior guest singers and letting them shine and get their deserved applause.
So thanks for the inspiration Avery, I had never heard of K.D. Lang before, nor have my friends here in Germany.
