That still makes her a person and not your property. And even if she was your property in the past (which is a thorough unhealthy way to look at people), that would have changed the moment her husband took her as his wife.

It is interesting that chastity nad purity is typically required only from girls/womens. I think that also man should be virgin (and men are more tend to masturbate) so chastity belt is also solution for them to protect them from bad behaviour (selfpleasure)

especially once your daughter is married you have no rights over her because if you continue to control her you would also be patronising her husband and what right do you have to interfere in their marriage? if she wants to wear the belt in marriage that is ok and if not that is ok too, that is between the two of them

You will find in any city or town unsafe areas and you should not go their without proper protection. The open point is how unsafe is your area where you live to the safety level in average? Less safe or safe?
My question was to get the information how it is. I have no information how the average situation is in USA. I can only say something about in general for Germany.
If she feel unsafe I can understand why she wears her belt outside of the house.

of course, i agree with you. i also see it more as a perceived security. for me it depends, unfortunately there are many people who ... how do i say this now? ... are socially underclass and don't even shy away from physical attacks. the belt can then also make you feel a bit protected. unfortunately, there are some dangerous places near me that i can't always avoid, that's the problem.
