bdsamm "obviously you are in a liberal state. In some states, the cops spend half their time busting prostitutes. As your Patriots Owner found out down in Florida. Don't know how Kraft came out on that but it was ridiculous. Here they keep after the massage parlors but more or less as a sideline."
Moved this so we don't incur Ines' wrath. The cops' rationale was, I think, that in a nearby community there was evidence of sex trafficking in a massage parlor, so the cops in the town where Kraft got caught were playing catch up and started watching local shops.
Kraft dodged the bullet in a legal sense, I gather because the cops were taping everyone and, generally, one must have reason to tape a particular individual, else the evidence is not admissible. Also, there was no evidence, apparently, that Kraft solicited a sex act, which is the crime involved. No doubt he was smart enough not to articulate his desires. It is said that the signal is to come into the cubicle and remove all one's clothes and then lie on one's back, rather than don a towel and lie on one's stomach.
No doubt he was embarrassed at the time. Just this summer he began again giving interviews to small, hand-picked groups of reporters. Of course, no one mentioned the incident. It helps that his son now runs the club so he really doesn't have to talk. He also married a well-known doctor in recent months so he has seemingly got back out into polite society.
