This is not "fascism", but primitive right-wing populism combined with parochial religiosity. Fascism is an ideology in which the state as an emanation of the nation is crucial. It has an omnipotent, total character, and the citizen is supposed to serve it. This element is absent from the American right, where the state (especially the federal authorities) is very often perceived as a kind of threat to the freedom of its citizens.

well, the actual topic has nothing to do with politics, the posts have only (once again) drifted a bit. I would like to come back to the original topic. I have no experience with muslim chastity, but a very religious grandmother (christian) who finds it right for religious reasons that I wear a chastity belt, so what I want to say is that other religions and religious people are also pro chastity.
