WriterAlexis I mean, it is a use for them and relates to you. Not sure why you would expect additional options to make a belt more restrictive to be beneficial to the desires of a reluctant wearer.

But since your wearing regime works well for everyone in your home it would not be acceptable if they suddenly would want to add some accessories. Indeed, as you tell us, your belt does not have side rings, more when one of your cousins have thigh bands and the theme was not ever discussed in home.
In my experience before to add something new, there are veeeeeeeery long conversations in home.

Ines Id say that should apply to any rule change, even minor ones honestly.
If for no other reason then the person affected by that rule understands why it's there.
Of course we don't always like the rules.

Everyone is nice with current usage.

well, there are reasons for the D-rings, but as long as your parents have the keys, you should be happy not to have any

the purpose of the D-rings has already been explained. however, i would also like to point out that, at least with Mysteel, the D-rings are not standard but have to be ordered separately. this would mean that anyone who orders D-rings at least does not rule out the possibility of ordering Thighbands or similar for the wearer

Look at @Damien's profile picture. Rings with a D shape, which can be attached to a flat steel surface and fold flat or spread out. They are unobtrusive when not in use, but provide a convenient way to attach chains for thigh bands, chastity bras, wrist restraints, leashes or tethers.

A lot of belts have the option for D-rings on the waistband. The primary use is to attach chains that hold thigh bands up so the wearer cannot slip out of them. Sometimes they are also used to hold a chastity bra down for extra security or to provide an anchor point for chain bondage. And Laura had the idea to attach a car key fob to them to prevent the wearer from losing / giving away their car keys without prior approval from the keyholder, and potentially also to remind part-time wearers to put on the belt before going out.

of course, i just want to draw attention to this for all combinations (wearer/key holder). so if the key holder orders a belt with D-rings, he/she will certainly have thought about attaching something to it

Angelina yes, I do keep in touch with Monica. We spoke a couple of weeks ago. Jane is still required to wear the belt when she leaves the house at night and on the weekends. She has become more defiant though and that is causing some issues between them. I think because she wants to go out without having to wear it and Monica assumes that Jane will resort to her old behaviors. Susan knows more as she talks to Jane more often. I will ask her to update.

Angelina hello. Yes I do talk to Jane quite a bit. AJ is right, it seems like there is fighting again about the belt. Monica insists that Jane wears the belt when she leaves the house, Jane does not want to. The original deal was she wear it out on nights and weekends, which seemed to be OK for a while, but now Jane likes someone and wants to have sex with him and she has.

Her mom obviously did not want this, and this had led to Jane losing her car keys, money from her mom, etc. The whole situation is sad. I don't know what will happen next. They fight all the time. I am not sure I can offer much help.

i hope that doesn't happen, because even if it was a bit difficult at the beginning, it seems that the two have found a good compromise between their interests. i really hope that it won't escalate now

although there is a difference in the behaviour of the mother. Jane definitely has problems, but her mother didn't really behave honestly either
