kat_anders Long time lurker, but if you care about my understanding why female chastity can be so appealing to (even non-kinky) males. Obviously the upbringing of the man can greatly influence that if he was raised on very conservative gender roles or with a religion that values virginity until marriage - but beyond these obvious reasons I also think that (especially self-imposed chastity like @Jen @Avery or @Amira practice) can be both mentally (emotionally?) and sexually attractive.
Regarding the former, it displays a certain amount of self-control and the ability to not immediatly induldge in easily available dopamin rushes. Rather, she shows that she is above primal instincts and can savor the wait, because long-awaited things at the right moment with the right partner can be that much more beautiful than the aformentioned dopamine rushes - I find these character traits that lead to chastity in the first place desireable.
Sexually, it obviously comes down to personal taste, but for me (hoping Ím not to explicit here @Ines ) knowing what level of sexual tensions and desire must be brewing between these legs, the ensuing horny woman full of lust that just wants you (speaking from the perspective of a hypothetical boyfriend), knowing that she is probably enjoying it as well and not just doing it out of courtesy for you…I hope you might see how these things could be attractive to the average non-fetish male when it comes to sex. Additionally, If itˋs not just self-imposed but with a keyholder you naturally fall into a power-dynamic with a more dominant and a more submissive part. I honestly thought, before talking with some close friends and reading a bunch, that D/s was pretty niche when it comes to kink…but even that comes on a sprectum where more extreme, total-power-exchange type of relationships are certainly rarer, but even just casually giving or receiving power (teasing, light slaps, maybe keeping a grip on her hands /hair etc.) is probably pretty common. My point being, I would guess that atleast on the lighter end of the spectrum, that dynamic is enjoyable for a lot people. Or, to be more precise, people that enjoy these things tend to get interested in stuff that can restrict and control someone else (hopefully their consensual partner), so they stumble across chastity belts (as we all did) - and due to the nature of the internet we are only exposed to the men (some of which sadly are just creepy) that ultimately are interested in belts, so they write here and we learn about them. All the people that simply aren‘t into chastity have no reason to be active here, hence our perception of the appeal of chastity to men is probably skewed heavily.
Sorry, kinda forgot the question you asked, just a tangent observation.
