Angelina And from personal experience, if the family looks somewhat okay, middle class (basically the flat is clean, the pets look not feral, there are no visible marks of violence on the kids), family social services will decline to help, even if the family and the kid's psychiatrist ask them to provide help in the form of a social worker.
Family social services also have only a limited budget and resources, and they usually try to limit "spending" it to the very obvious cases. Now a upper middle class family that by its own asks for help, gets the kid medical help, and is paying for immediate psychological treatment privately (because public health slots take a waiting time and are a bit hard to come by), that's a clear case of let's visit them for 30 minutes once, and they've literally been never seen again. Guess our family's file went to the cold files.
No matter who sent them requests for "family counseling support", ā¦ => black hole.
