maybe everyone's body is different.my wife hasn't told me about such kind of issues. 😀

Ines It's strange, it's medical grade silicone, however, change it, at the end you have to do it every certain time.

every skin is different and it may also be an allergic reaction to the material

Joh I saw those. Neosteel does to. I'll likely order one soon.

Ines I'm not sure if it's medical grade silicone or neoprene. All I know is it sticks to my skin and eventually causes a rash.

      👍

"Monistat complete care" powder gel works well for some. Available at drug stores in the US. Don't know about elsewhere.

is the rash more likely to be caused by the rubbing or is it an allergic reaction?

The smooth silicone liners sometimes cause extra perspiration under the liner and this leads to a heat rash. Talcum or baby powder helps if you can apply it as soon as you start to feel the area get warm or slightly red. When the redness develops, the best thing is to remove the belt until the redness goes away and the try again. Your skin will build up a tolerance to the pressure from the silicone liner.

It is true, but it happens too with the steel. Perspiration and pressure marks are not avoidable at all.
I had neoprene and is far better silicone, it is much smoother.

Yes. It happens with steel, also but I think not as much. I have not tries neoprene for a long, long time. Back then, it was not smooth. I think it must help that neoprene is softer and more cushioned.

Not rare at all. "Medical Grade" doesn't mean much, other than it's hypoallergenic and more resistant to bacterial growth. Skin irritation is a fact of life even with advanced prosthetics and orthotics. And ummm, dildos too.

bdsamm awesome! I'll pick some up and try that.

Angelina I feel like it's the rubbing. After a while it sticks to my skin and makes almost a rug burn. It doesn't seem to matter how often I re-apply oil. It still happens. Even when I'm not moving and there's no damage to my skin the belt starts to feel like it's burning where it's touching my skin.

Tjc good to know. I'll try baby powder. Thank you.

Just putting fabric under the waist of the belt has completed eliminated the issue for me. If the skin irritation is just part of wearing the belt I'll likely keep using the tank top

If it helps than it is a solution.
When wearing corsets, it is always recommended to wear a singlet under the corset. It seems to be the same here.

Joh This is more about keeping the corset clean?

BD1791 It sounds like you don't have a particular spot, it's more of an everywhere issue? For me and my cheap chastity belt, it was much more comfortable with something underneath as well but I could still point to specific areas where the fit was bad.

I don't think I could wear a corset 24/7, but certainly it is comfortable to wear all day. It is weird that it is so hard to get a Chastity belt to fit in the same way.

I think the main reason is the stiffness of the metal. For a perfect fit, it has to be bent exactly to your individual shape everywhere. In addition, there are areas of the CB that are unfavourable in terms of construction and therefore pose a greater risk of skin irritation and pressure points.

Joh therefore pose a greater risk of skin irritation and pressure points.

Sides and inner thighs in my case.

Do you think a narrower shield would Help to get less irritation at your inner thighs?
With Sides Do you mean Sides of your waist?

It could be but If you wear a Clean garmet on your skin it should also Help to prevent skin irritation.

                        @BD1791
could this perhaps be the reason that the belt is simply not yet optimally adapted to your body, or perhaps even that the measurements were incorrect?

Sara it is a particular spot. It's on the back but to the sides. It could probably be described as a pressure point. The belt does stick all over but I don't get the spots anywhere else.

Angelina I did gain some weight that I'm now losing but the belt is adjustable so having it on the largest setting is "comfortable" to wear. I just don't want to be on the largest setting. I've already lost 7 lbs. I'm hoping to lose 5 more.
