He can then have more understanding on you. I think he would not reject getting some restrictions from you as well for how much you have done for him.

No, I don't think so. I have a lot of responsibilities that I mostly manage well. I am raised with the idea that responsibility is very important.

I am responsible for my work, my tasks, making sure things are done when and how expected, and so on.

But I have very little experience in making my own decisions. I am used to suggest things and to make my input in a calm and obedient way, so I can be sure my suggestion is considered and I don't get in trouble. But I was never the one who really made the decision. But this doesn't mean that I don't have a strong opinion in many things.

no seriously, i understand in some points why you think so, i like it when someone else makes decisions for me, but i would be too afraid to lose control in some of them. that's why i always try to participate in the final decision

Yes, I understand, but I don't think that I am that different to many others. It is most probably just another education and therefore a different view on many things.

A general statement. But for example I am allowed to do many things that would normally need a permission when it is for a good reason, like leaving the property for going to work. I just have to inform him but don't have to wait for his approval.

I agree with @Angelina.Without trying it,it is hard to be sure an equal right relationship would not feel better.
