In our family my father has the main key. Spare keys are in a save, my brother knows the combination for emergencys.

My mother, sister and I don't have any access on our own.

Of cause, that's how it is in our family. In a REAL emergency my father or brother can still tell us the code for the safe but in the last decades such a situation never happened for my mother or us.

In my opinion it is wrong. Part of their responsibility is do not let us disobey. If we are able to disobey, they failed as keyholder.

Yes,but don't you think it it is good if we can prove we're worth the trust of our keyholder?

I know there would be no second chance,if I would break it,the system would be changed,and it would not be so easy to access my keys anymore.And I'm sure my parents would make me regret my disobedience(especially with less freedom,alone or with Emilie).

Laura It's honestly not that hard.
Nothing of that kind really is. Except electronic locks that accept a string as password... they are pretty much unbeatable.
