I can't always guess the times she wants me to say it, so sometimes she ends up genuinely not liking how something plays out, laughs. It's an unusual dynamic but we make it work.

Yeah, that was pretty foolhardy. It's like Tobbe said at the beginning, I'm stubborn and want to show off how tough I am. I actually do want to get into a big argument with my mom about how I chose to wear a belt and she can't ever have the keys, but that would be a bad idea. Not worth the hell that would break loose.

Long story short: all is right with the world. I've been released from the belt and Pru is back where she belongs, in a belt and tightbands. Long version: Everything went smoothly. She did a little ceremony where she took mine off, because she digs that sort of thing. Then we took a break for a few hours with both of us out of our belts. I'll leave that to everyone's imaginations. Putting Pru back in was pretty intense for her. She begged to be free of the tightbands, but that made me more inclined to put them on. I'm pretty sure that's what she wanted. She spent the holiday weekend with padlocked tightbands. Never tried that before during the day. I'll only be doing that again on holidays, it really hobbled her! So I think it was all a great dream for her. Myself, I've been thinking about why I've been more passive and submissive all this time. Does the belt just trigger submissiveness? That's kind of scary if it does. But for me, I think it was more basic. Wearing the belt is like wearing restraints at all times. If you were in a straitjacket or handcuffs, you would feel dependent on the person who could let you out. I felt vulnerable, especially in public. Relying on Pru made me feel safer. It's a powerful feeling. I don't think I'd like to feel it very often. But the important thing is that I've learned how Pru feels. This is what she is experiencing when she's belted by me. And I assert dominance over her a lot more than she does me. She only put me in the corner that one time and I think she just wanted to try it. I'm not sure what else to say. I'm trying to really think about what's happened and how this changes things. I know I don't want to stay belted, that's for sure! I think I'll be more mindful of what my actions mean to Pru. Everything seems intensified when you're belted. I'll pay more attention that as we go on.
