My parents think differently. I'm not allowed to bring boys home despite the belt.

    Sure,you can date and meet him outdoor only,but if the relationship have to become serious,some intimacy,in your home or his,is needed(even without sex...At least for you,you still can use your hands and your mouth,if you want to give pleasure to a boyfriend,or to a girlfriend).

                            Beeing with a guy is just normal. Nobody cares if it is just a friend or your boyfriend and even if it is you boyfriend they don't care what you do.

                                Being with a guy is normal, bringing a guy home is not normal, because it assumes sex between non-married people. That's my parents' position.

                                    Same in my case. I have never dated a boy yet, but my sister has go out with some boy, and It was not a tragedy. It is a normal thing.

                                        I agree. Coming with a boy to your bedroom rather to a dinner with your parents, for example, is mauvais ton. If you wish to do it, do it secretly somewhere outside home.

                                          In my case, if would like a boy, first at all I would say it to my parents, and there will not be problems if I date an afternoon to go cinema, or go get some drink or talk. Over all, i would worry to be serious about distances. I am a little slow with decissions and I need know well before start as sweeties.
                                          But arrive home with a boy? Of course me with my belt and parents present? No, OMG, i will die for shame .For me is unaceptable idea.

                                                              not even if you want a steady relationship, i think your mother would like to meet your future husband after all
