well, i don't find this consequence very nice especially because otherwise he usually stays very calm even when i break the rules, but no more punishment because not saying something is not punished in our home

Almost all of my local friends now know about my belt, and it hasn't been a problem at all!

I'm not one to restrain my behavior much. I exchange hugs with friends. If there is a hot tub, I'm likely to be the first one in. I even went skinny dipping with some friends, or rather they skinny dipped and I stripped down my belt.

I knew this was unavoidable once I started wearing it permanently, so I had a little fun. Rather than telling friends about it, I let them discover it. I didn't make a big deal out of it, and after they chuckled and asked a question or two, they didn't make a big deal of it either.

Most interesting questions:

Does your wife make you wear that?
Doesn't that get cold when you swim in the cold river?
I've never seen one of those. Can I try it on some time?

This seems to indicate that discovery by others is not guaranteed to be a negative event.

and yes most people don't react as negatively as you think at the beginning, i experienced that with my best friend. 🙂

None so far! However, I am strange enough that I have filtered for people who appreciate eccentricity. This is not the most surprising thing that I have revealed to most of them.

One friend even asked to try it on, and my key holder agreed. I cleaned it up and she wore it over some shorts. She is close enough to my size that it fit her pretty well. I would not be surprised if she joined the club. 😂

I would have been afraid if others judge the wrong way because knowing the belt's purpose would probably imply horrible assumptions. The friends you have right now are definitely a keeper, as they are so accepting with your situation and keep it to themselves as far as I can tell. Take care of them and keep them close to you. Saintprudence Oddly, I’m starting to really miss wearing my belt. More the strange familiar comfort it provided than the actual chastity; I got very used to having it on and it felt like a second skin. I’m half tempted to go put it on but I promised Goody I’d stay out of it while she was locked up!

I'd lie for sure. Say i take it off whenever I want but like it as a comfort safety thing and like hint at it being a bit kinky too but then not say any more. Even on this forum some of my real thoughts get people arguing.

My friends know me to be asexual with the sexual drive of a dead fish. They do know I'm quite kinky, though, which is probably why they didn't react strongly.

If the same folks thought I was prisoner to it, regardless of who held the key, they'd be very concerned. It is indeed only OK because it's consensual.

My choice to be broadly open is also to protect myself from potential blackmail. If everyone knows all my 'shameful secrets', there's no advantage to another threatening to disclose them 🙃
