Vanessa Similar in France,we can drive when we're 16,with the "permis accompagné",but we must choose who must be with us when driving(it must be an adult,of course),and we have to get another driver licence at 18.

It means similar to USA, but not to Germany. For example in New York if you are 16 already you can go to a local DMV, take your permit test( basically questions about traffic rules) and get the learning permit immediately, that lets you drive on the streets accompanied by a driver license holder. Then you can take your road test and get you driver license. But you don't have to be 18

Yes,very similar,except the last part,as we can't get a driver licence letting us drive alone before we're 18.

But I guessed it was not the case in the USA,as,in some TV shows,people between 16 and 18 are driving alone,sometimes.

I think a big problem in doing a driver's test in france is that the test is in french. Also going to france is very expensive.

It is the case for many of us.

You may try to learn a few new words everyday,to have some vocabulary,then learn more difficult parts,like grammar...But it would take time.And french is not the easier language to learn.

definitely not if it would take longer than by car, my father wants me to use my time effectively and not just sit around

Angelina This would be good, I never thought your father trusts you so much. My father would never allow this, because a big difference to being free for a sports class is that you are alone in your car an the time you need differs a bit because of the traffic. This would give you time for playing.
