Angelina Both there are many cars that cannot be sold in the US and those sit in lots for years having never been driven. After a long enough period sometimes they are handed off to a car rental in a large group discount.

Used cars you can get from someone for very little. I think there will be many cars at 1/10th the price showing up especially if no one is driving far families may share cars.

There is a lot of taxes on fuel in France too.

Angelina You could try removing the intake piping before the air filter. This will cause the engine to pull in hot air from inside the engine bay instead of cold air from the outside. It will reduce engine power output slightly, but may also improve efficiency.

For a larger efficiency boost, route the intake to pull in air over the exhaust manifold.
