Father4chastity I typically do not allow her to drive other than taking the children places. Even then, all trips are okayed by me in advance. As to the girls, if they want to visit friends, good reasons must be given. Shopping is always with my father or my brother, mostly once a week. If we forgot to buy something, we are sometimes allowed to go to the supermarket and buy exactly this piece. For this only real money is used, no cards.
Father4chastity Yes, permission to visit restroom is routine. If someone is not feeling well, certainly, that doesn't apply. Otherwise, the females are used to asking permission. Same thing with watching TV/ movies or with internet. And, in that regard, I monitor all internet usage and online time is limited everyday for each. It is appropriate for their to be an atmosphere of deference at all times.
This is more strict then in my family. We are normally free to use restrooms whenever we want, but we are not allowed to leave the room without permission when a male is present, of course often there is a general pre-approval, like going to the store room while cooking.
Father4chastity Family dinner times are casual and they are free to speak. And, outings of course or other times when we may watch a movie together. However, other than that, permission is required to speak. This is typically with a raised hand if within my line of sight or walking to me if not there already and not in corner time and raising the hand. When doing so and as a symbol of their recognition that speech is not freely something they should take for granted, when they raise one hand with hopes that I will allow them to speak they have to put the other hand over their mouth.

The females are not allowed to start a conversation with foreign males without permission and in case the (not approved) male starts the conversation are only allowed to answer questions of foreign males but not asking something in return that is not necessary to answer the males original question.
Father4chastity Normally (when it's not a pandemic) the girls get one hour of leisure TV/computer time a day and my wife gets 15 minutes. A movie is allowed once time per week. My girls do not have cell phones. My wife's cell phone is a basic model for emergency only and not a smartphone (that is intentional). My son has an iphone and can use as he wishes and has a four-hour limit a day on media including video games.
