Latex "sticks" to the body, so it is certainly more difficult to move the discs in such a suit than in the case of other elastic material. At the moment I am wearing a tight elastic t-shirt for training at the gym and if it had such discs, I could easily move them away from body.

It's hard to talk about any comfort here when something squeezes your chest, but in some situations steel can be more comfortable in the sense that it is a conductor and dissipates heat, not like plastic which is an insulator. That's why I definitely prefer steel cages to plastic ones, where my dick sweats a lot more.
