It seems it went pretty well.Am I right by guessing your father like him?
It is good he's sweet with her and accept well the situation,and wise to not criticize your father's decision,even if he feels bad for her.I guess too he won't be a dominant boyfriend or husband for her,and she'll probably not have to wear chastity devices after wedding,if she'll marry him.
