Vanessa But an advice would be to not choose towns made mainly for tourists,but more ancient villages.There would be tourists too during summer but less,and I think these towns are more pleasant.If you want a place more known,but with a lot of tourists " La c么te d'Azur" and especially "Saint Tropez" is well known(but expensive);never went here myself.
i would prefer small villages on the beach, i would also not stay in one place but rather see different places for one or two weeks and only stay in one place for one or two nights 馃檪
Tobbe S猫te and Montpellier are nice towns in the south France.
