Sara2001 I don't understand why so many people try to find a reason to ignore the health risks, especially for older people related to the Corona virus. It just doesn't make sense to me.

So I look on who could profit from this lie and the answer is: The politicians, the economy, nobody would profit from a lie like that. A few companies make some money with hygiene products and medical equipment, but these peoples lobby is just to small. A global lie just wouldn't make any sense.
to say this again very clearly. i do not claim that the coronavirus is a lie. i agree with you that the economy does not profit from it, many small and medium-sized companies will have to file for bankruptcy. even my father will feel the negative effects 🙁
but i think politics will benefit from it. it seems to me that politicians are playing with people's fear of the virus.
i try to look at the whole thing separately. on one side is the corona virus, on the other side the power game of our politicians
of course we have to be careful and make sure that the virus doesn't spread, but it seems to me that the two things mentioned above don't have anything to do with each other anymore. the control of the state exceeds the risk of infection (see my calculation above)
there is also no longer a clear position. the federal government is handing over responsibility to the federal states, which is why an internal poker game between the risks of the virus and the seizure of power by individuals is beginning. above all, the behaviour of mr söder and mr laschet should make us much more afraid than the virus.
