What about airport security? In our family the belt is removed for the flight but will be back in place as soon as possible. Normally we go to holiday by car and it is mostly in the north.

We have bin in Spain once. The holiday was horrible. 2 Weeks in the heat and not in the pool because of the belt.

hmm there you are probably right, i still have to clarify that with my father. i think that i will then be open before the flight and then later at the holiday resort locked again

last year I was out in short clothes and swam in the sea and in the pool and now I can not even lie in bathing clothes on the beach

that's a good idea but my father is very strict and i don't think he's going to get into it because otherwise he would have to unlock and lock me up all the time

Laura In my case I didn't wear belt when we were together and only worn it when left alone.

In our family I have to wear the belt "only" when we are together but the tight bands when I'm on my own in the room (with the A/C).

Laura Girls, how about if you need to travel alone?

I never had the need. Most probably I would go by train or by highway bus. Both are save and have good quality in Germany and for German destinations the train is faster and more convenient then the plain.

The question is how good you can the the belt, bands and bra under this outfit. I think it's very visible when your outfit is wet.

It's easy to say that if you don't have to fear that someone will see something he or she shouldn't.

Even if it is not visible under the swimsuit, it's still a lot of clothes and because of very religious Muslim families, these kind of clothes is forbidden at many, maybe most European beaches and swimming pools.

Sara2001 Modest swimwear is worn by women of many faiths and not banned, outside of some temporary French ones which don't apply here. If you can find evidence of such a widespread ban, please do so.

As for being seen, sure, but that's where the compromise and exceptions come in. No girl is going to get to touch even unbelted while next to her dad on a beach, or even in the water, really.

If that's a problem, well, then okay, but vacations may as well be cancelled, then.

I’ve never traveled by plane,but I guess,in such case,the belt should be taken off before the flight and put back on right after...

Travelling alone would be a problem if the belt must be worn...Avoiding the plane,using train or bus(like Sara suggested),seems the best solution.

Going to the beach is really difficult,yes.Or we must wear clothes hiding it....Maybe using a pareo at the beach,taken it off right before going to the sea,and put it on right after?The belt would be visible with the swimsuir,but not for long,maybe short enough to not be noticed.

yes i could wear that at least with belt and bra but with the tightbands it gets more difficult, i can hardly swim with it

there you have right belt and bra are together already quite heavy, there I should be really careful

Angelina Which goes back to negotiations and exceptions... I'd agree with perhaps the belt and that swimwear on - or just the swimwear.
