The idea can be good,but it is not something we can talk about on the first date...So the relationship have to last long enough to lead to talking about it,and it can easily be long enough for the woman to fall in love,and,if he break-up due to the belt,even as a test,it could be a heartache too...But,at least,the woman knows the relationship would probably not have lasted long after they had sex.
Do you suggest more wearing a chastity belt until the marriage,or,if he succeed the test and accept to wait,take it off a few days later,and have sex with him even long before married?

I don't think @Laura wanted to be mean and I tend to agree with her.Even if you not promised him to have sex with him on your birthday,you suggested and planned it,so it takes it as granted,even if not what you said.I think it is more his fault than yours.

Or if she tells him she doesn't have the keys,no matter if it is true or not(even if he can dislike she wanted to test him and lied to him).
