Asking for thighbands

Angelina if they had to wear a chastity belt
Yeah sure, if people had to wear them, then clearly more unhappiness would be the result.
...but given full social acceptance and maybe a few high profile celebrities being seen wearing them, I think a lot more people would choose to wear one.
Jonas ...but given full social acceptance and maybe a few high profile celebrities being seen wearing them, I think a lot more people would choose to wear one.
maybe, but for that to happen, the advantages would have to be put clearly in the foreground and the disadvantages clearly in the background, and it would take a lot of promotion.
Angelina Consent is the key. I think the experiences on Unwed forum make that clear. The more free the choice to wear, the better the outcome.
Of course, when people choose to wear chastity belts it gets labelled a "fetish" but I think most here agree that this line can be blurred. Whatever we call it, the huge numbers of products available on eBay and Amazon certainly show that there's a lot of interest out there.
Angelina I would rather say a high mental strength
It probably plays a part. But it is very uncommon.
Jonas given full social acceptance and maybe a few high profile celebrities being seen wearing them, I think a lot more people would choose to wear one.
Likely. But I doubt the reluctant wearers on this board would become willingly wearers, even in this case!
And a bit lying,if trying to lower the disadvantages...
Jonas Consent is the key.
I agree.
Jonas the huge numbers of products available on eBay and Amazon
As they're generally not made to be used long term,I think these are many for fetishists...

I agree. I find this sad. The positive side of chastity has been lost to these folk, perhaps forever.
Jonas Consent is the key.
I agree.
Consent means everyone involved is adult, informed, and willing. If these three things are not in place, chastity belt use is entirely wrong.

Again it's this question of the difference, if any can be found, between "fetish" and "real" use. When I asked about this in regard to manufacturers' websites, the forum couldn't agree a way to separate the two.
So, instead of judging and classifying the behaviour, if we look at it merely as an expression of interest, then a lot of people appear to be interested in chastity.

of course, i agree with you completely, but the belt is a restrictive item and such items (whether voluntary or involuntary) are always difficult to market.
Vanessa It probably plays a part. But it is very uncommon.
Of Course

that's true, but the belt should only be aimed at customers who want the belt voluntarily anyway.
Jonas The positive side of chastity has been lost to these folk
Not sure we could have liked it,anyway.

However, fetish only stuff are generally not made to be used in long term. And I doubt many stuffs sold on Amazon and so can be worn permanently...

I agree.
However, cuffs are restrictive and sell pretty well in sex-xhop and similar, too,it seems...

Right.
