The tracker would display the last location the signal was detected I imagine. If the foil is removed and you back track out of the building, the first time the GPS re-acquires the signal, that will then be the new "location".

I suppose how practical this will be is whether your parents will accept that you really did spend 6 hours at the university where the signal was lost. If so, then you had six hours of "freedom" 🤣

my father doesn't have to worry about my studies, just like at school, i will take studying very seriously and will probably spend the 6 hours at the university willingly. 😉

Angelina if the parents want to prevent misbehaviour it is better if she knows, if they just want to know about misbehaviour then it would be better if she doesn't know (from the parents point of view).

Sure,but I think it would be logical they would want to prevent her to misbehave,instead of letting her misbehave and punish her after.

he would punish it, our principle is that i am allowed to make mistakes, but i am punished for the mistakes and should learn from them. the only exception would probably be if i put myself in danger.

gwen GPS is very unreliable indoors in general. There will be unavoidable gaps in the GPS location, for example indoors. It is this weakness in the system that can be exploited.

I agree with that.
GPS does not work very well especially in cities when the houses are high and dense. Also, they can be brought out of step by interfering signals or be shielded by aluminum foil that they can no longer receive anything reasonable. Inside houses, reception is often not possible.

It is a normal process of growing up that mistakes are made. They are even necessary and helpful, but they should be mistakes that do not have far-reaching consequences. Pregnancy or addiction to drugs, gambling, financial dependence on contracts or other people should be prevented.

Not that much,many smartphones/smart watches are waterproof,it could be the case too.

You didn't get the point. In Germany are several laws enforced to protect minors because it really matters. The contract is only an example.

Your father should think about him self when he breaks the law because he thinks his morel is standing over the law what kind of person he really is. With that action he moved himself on the same level as thieves, fraudsters, bank robbers, etc.

I can understand your situation and you decision but nevertheless it is was it is. You can try to talk it nice, but it doesn't change the facts.
