Foxies Dumb question - for those religious souls who wish to live for eternity - is there an out clause? I mean when you are bored after the first googolplex years - can you commit suicide
Yes, you can turn against God, like Lucifer, and be sent to hell.
Foxies I don't want to live by many of God's rules, at least the ones I have read about in the common religions.
Theese rules are made to ensure a working society... big past of pur western law systems are based on them.
It is all about being a good person. When you try to be such a person then you live in line with his laws, if you are evil then you don't. Now, if first thing is true, you'll go to heaven, probably, if you have been evil and Jesus, our Lord and highest judge, doesn't find a reason to excuse your evilness, then you'll be sent to hell to suffer for your faults and die after that.
Jesus is not petty... it won't matter much if you find another way to do one thing that's in line with god rules as long as it is something good and reasonable and done with a good intention. Tge problem is that we often don't see what is reasonable or what isn't, that's why god gave us his rules.
