Still, tatoos are not something common in the upper class. Imagine Queen Elisabeth II. having a one of that arm-coverimg dragon tatoos...

I also don't think a classical tatoo is a proof of intellect. Young children tend to öain the walls and themself, having a tatoo shows that you metally still have the desire to paint youself.

Max9 I think you will find a lot of tattoos, if you could see this "upper" class people naked. They are smart and do not get big arm-covering pictures. Instead, some smaller, on more secret places on the body. A little heart or some flowers etc...

that's true, in the past tatoos and piercings were more likely to be found in the lower social classes, but today they are no longer a "status symbol" and have found their way into the middle and even the upper classes (even if not to Queen Elisabeth 😉 ).

I mean ... some piercings really are ok, like of of the kind being made wirh some little diamonds that is attached to the belly ... but that's really depending on the sort of piercing ...

i think it depends on the body part. if you as a mother see this body part, your opinion will play a role. if it is a body part that only the partner sees, your opinion is rather unimportant.

but i wouldn't put it down to social classes. i have friends from the goth scene who also have tattoos, but these friends are not lower class but rather from the middle class.
