I'm fine already. We're reconstruated what happened that night. The traffic light had a malfunction, I was on the main road (Vorfahrtsstraße) and a bus driver who came out of a town ran a waiting sing (white triange with red surrounding) with approx. 80 km/h, crashed into my front fendor and pushed my car across the intersection.m and into a traffic island... Verkehrsinsel. The front of my car is pressed in till the middle of the car ... engine is ok, but as everything is damaged it's pushed up and not in positon anymore. I can only hope that at least the A-pillar is kot damaged too bad.... it I had hit the break one or two seconds lster the bus had hit the drivers cabin and pressed me to a mouse of bone splits and meat. A few centimeters later and I had no more feet now.
The question is why the bus driver ran the sign , why he was so fast and why he left drove somewhere where there's no bus route.

Thank god I have new and good tires and a probably fast reaction.

He came out of nothing with very week lights... if the would have been stronger I might have seen him earlier... You really need to be always sure your cars is safe and you are in a condition able to react immediately
I would have never thought that this would have happend to me that day

thanks for the update, you are definitely not to blame and i also find it hard to put the full blame on the bus driver. it is a very stressful job and the pressure people put on bus drivers is not small. probably a mixture of technical and human errors.

but i hope that at least the damage will be compensated (at least the financial damage).

Sounds like you might already have taken your foot off the gas approaching the intersection, even when you were on a priority road. And at least you were very alert. Pretty much in line with what I was suggesting in my traffic example about risks. Which in no way had anything to do with your accident; only when Angelina mentioned your accident I realized that this would be an important topic for you at the moment.
I'm sure you will not be approaching that section at high speed any time soon; I know the roundabout where I slipped with my bike and broke my collarbone, I approached carefully for years, double checking each time that I rode slow enough.

yeah, might have probably fallen asleep ... long shifts, a lot of stressful city diving, maybe couldn't sleep last night...

Nah, not at all. The repair costs would be about 40.000€ for my car (at an authorized repair shop probably a lot more) and I will probably only get about 6.000€ ... based on the market value ... it's a young timer... I'm searching for someone to straighten my main girders and I'll do the rest of the repairs... there are some of them with problems like engine problems or something like that available for a low price ... a whole car in that condition costs as much as one repair part ... I'll get one of them from the junkyard to take the parts from there. Depending on how much the straightening costs I won't spend too much that way. Luckily my family has several cars, so I can borrow one from my dad... as soon as that one is done repairing... some old broken rubber pipes...

Normally you should be able to sue for the value of your car before the accident, I know most of the time you won't get it all back, but it should at least be enough to pay for the repairs or a new car. it would be a long court case though.

i know this, i used to have a bike as a child and fell over in the winter. even if nothing bad happened i always rode around on the outside for the next 3 years.

I am not against Jewelry but we are very against fancysteel. I clicked there with my husband once when someone told me that they had improved the cable sports belt and boy do I regret that. 😥 That place should be illegal

yes, he always says that i shouldn't ruin my beautiful skin, although i don't really want a tattoo at the moment, maybe a belly button piercing. 😉

They make good belts, but it seems they are everyday more focused in other business.
