if the belt doesn't fit really well, then either your parents made a mistake when measuring or the belt wasn't produced properly. however, you shouldn't wear a belt that doesn't fit 100%. if you do wear the belt for a longer period of time (maybe someday), it can be very uncomfortable if it doesn't fit perfect.

There's a million different knock-offs available, most don't have the build quality of the big Euro brands. I've never seen a real MySteel but I'd be surprised if they were noisy or clunky. Some of the girls here would be better informed on such things though.

Sin hah nah I think my belt's legit. Just while getting the bands and the plate on there's some clinks.

I think I'm trying to wear it too low a bit higher on my hip I can get the main band closed in the middle positions but it hurts. I think it could work with the shape bent a bit. But up high the crotch is too short. It feels like it would work better lower with one side on the wide hole but then crotch is too long. Yeah the crotch part is right in the middle longer or shorter would work I think.
