Avery immediately followed up by postings by two men with detailed lists of the information they wanted.
As one of the males in question, I would very much like to refute that particular accusation. I cannot speak for carg obviously, I can only assume he had similar intentions as I had, and I hope he will comment on his own perspective.
First, the things we (or at least I) posted were not my personal "wants" or anything, it was an attempt at brainstorming what information might be relevant to understand the things the person is looking for.
Nobody was demanding or expecting any information, merely trying to suggest things that people might be interested in clarifying.
Yes, some of it might have been worded a little crudely; "parts that are locked up" sounds way more graphic than sex or gender does, but the reason behind it is that we have several trans* members, and restraining a penis is very different from restraining a vulva. So while for the emotional aspects of chastity, gender identity might make more sense, for practical questions like security against touching or challenges regarding discomfort, genital anatomy is kind of an important point.
You took particular objection to my point about views on masturbation, virginity or gender roles. I included it because it is a thing that is closely related to chastity, that sets many of us apart, and something where we tend to take our own views for granted. I have no interest in knowing whether a girl or young woman would want to be deflowered as soon as the opportunity presents itself, do not worry about that. But if we are discussing what acts are immoral, it helps to know the perspective other participants are coming from - the inspiration behind that was Ines's proposition that her sister, or was it her cousin, should stay away from her own apartment while her flatmates have boys over.
